Before Jonathan Anderson’s models took to the white runway at the Bassin Octogonal, the Tuileries served up a visual feast entirely its own. Wrapped in morning fog and artificial camphor trees, guests clutched their luxury invitation boxes—trying to figure out whether to gently roll their pair of meditation walnuts or simply deposit them discreetly into a purse.

Sitting directly across the mist, the front row assembled a formidable court of house royalty. Jennifer Lawrence occupied her customary seat with easy Hollywood nonchalance, projecting that dry, unflappable humor that makes billion-dollar luxury feel like a casual neighborhood catch-up. Beside her, Anya Taylor-Joy looked porcelain-pale and sharp as a needle, sporting the kind of aristocratic poise that could cut glass. The camera banks truly lost their collective composure when Rihanna swept in, bringing pure star wattage to Anderson’s misty garden, followed closely by Rosalía, whose razor-sharp street edge gave the morning’s botanical poetry an electric charge.

Add to that Jisoo of Blackpink—whose arrival predictably prompted a chorus of screams echoing across the Place de la Concorde—alongside Greta Lee and Cynthia Erivo, and the front row had all the markings of an A-list summit. Between whispered greetings, guests examined the floral-printed block heels on each other’s feet, toyed with the new metallic Double Hobos, and exchanged bewildered smirks over the walnut symbolism. A delightfully breezy morning in the park, proving that even when Paris decides to turn an ancient Chinese meditation ritual into fashion week theater, Hollywood will happily show up, smile for the flashbulbs, and play along.
